As part of Uzbekistan’s national e-mobility agenda, the EBRD is financing the procurement of 350 electric buses, charging stations, and supporting infrastructure in Samarkand. Aspiro acts as the Project Implementation Support (PIS) Consultant, assisting the Ministry of Transport, Samarkand Yulovchi Trans, and the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) in preparing and managing procurement, including tendering through EBRD procedures, contract administration, and compliance reporting. Aspiro also supports PIU organisational matters and supervises technical aspects such as pre-shipment inspections, ensuring timely and transparent implementation of this flagship green transport project.
