Program management and successful deployment of a major governmental solution for implementing electronic duty stamps in Slovakia.
Project description:
The goal of the eKolok project is to eliminate paper-based duty stamps in Slovakia and replace them with electronic receipts which are tracked in the eKolok system. The project was defined by the Slovak government and its goal is to eliminate fraud transactions with duty stamps.
Aspiro was providing project management services, test management services, managing deployment within different government departments and preparation of the provider organization to provide and support the eKolok solution.
Activities of Aspiro included:
- Program management of eKolok
- Management of the program
- Managing communication with stakeholders (government departments – users, vendors, Ministry of Finance as the project sponsor)
- Creating a new approach to the project
- Test management
- Creation of test strategy and acceptance criteria to handover the solution to operations
- Coordination of stakeholders involved in testing
- Managing user acceptance tests and communication with the systems integrator to resolve problems
- Solution deployment, preparation and support of operations
- Design of the operations model for eKolok
- Design of processes for eKolok operations at the service provider Slovak post
- S&M contract signing support
- Preparation, management and coordination of pilot and production operations of eKolok at the Slovak post, coordination of deployment activities to pilot and production operations
- Operations support – incident and problem management, definition of rules for solution operations
- Support of preparation and coordination of trainings
- managing the deployment of eKolok kiosks to authorities
- Managing the deployment of various scenarios based on the revised project approach to government departments
