Aspiro led the stakeholder presentation of the climate adaptation strategy in Podgorica in the presence of several Montenegrin and international institutions including the Transport Administration, Directorate for Emergency Situations, Institute for Hydrometeorology, EBRD and UNDP. The objective of the strategy, which is expected to be adopted and implemented imminently, is to increase climate resilience of Montenegrin road network by introducing a series of measurable actions, establish a framework for cross-institutional collaboration and increase awareness among governmental bodies and general public by outlining the monetary and nonfinancial benefits of improving climate resilience of road infrastructure in Montenegro.
