UNDP Serbia, together with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, commissioned a National Climate Investment Plan to translate the country’s commitment for 40% reduction in carbon emissions by 2035 into actual investment projects. Aspiro, with the team of local experts, reviews the policy and regulatory framework including national, regional and local self-governments level; quantifies investment needs across energy, transport, agriculture, forestry, and water sectors; and designs a climate finance strategy. The result is a costed and prioritized Climate Investment Plan structured for government budget decisions and multilateral project appraisal.
