As part of a transformative investment in sustainable heating, Aspiro, in consortium with Recura and ECT, supports Termokos JSC in implementing a Financial and Operational Performance Improvement Programme (FOPIP) and Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP). The project accompanies the construction of a 50 MW solar thermal plant and seasonal heat storage facility in Pristina. Aspiro’s work includes corporate business planning, tariff system reform, financial transparency, and the development of environmental and social management systems. This assignment strengthens Termokos’ institutional capacity to operate as a modern, commercially viable, and environmentally responsible district heating utility.

To support its strategic financial planning, State Housing Development Fund of Slovakia (Štátny fond rozvoja bývania, ŠFRB) engaged Aspiro to develop a tailored Activity-Based Costing (ABC) model. The assignment involved analyzing cost structures, identifying key cost drivers, and designing a static ABC model to evaluate process profitability across roles, activities, and customer segments. Aspiro collected and customized accounting data, built the model framework, and delivered strategic recommendations to improve cost efficiency and support evidence-based decision-making within ŠFRB.

The EBRD is going to finance the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant and associated sewage and stormwater infrastructure in Dikili, within the İzmir province. Aspiro is engaged to provide advance procurement support to IZSU, the local water utility, in preparing for this major infrastructure investment. As part of the assignment, Aspiro will develop the procurement and contracting strategy, support tender documentation, and guide the Client through EBRD-compliant procurement procedures. The assignment will also include strengthening project management capacity to ensure smooth contract implementation and risk mitigation.

 As part of Uzbekistan’s national e-mobility agenda, the EBRD is financing the procurement of 350 electric buses, charging stations, and supporting infrastructure in Samarkand. Aspiro acts as the Project Implementation Support (PIS) Consultant, assisting the Ministry of Transport, Samarkand Yulovchi Trans, and the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) in preparing and managing procurement, including tendering through EBRD procedures, contract administration, and compliance reporting. Aspiro also supports PIU organisational matters and supervises technical aspects such as pre-shipment inspections, ensuring timely and transparent implementation of this flagship green transport project.

 The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is financing the acquisition of specialized railway maintenance machinery to support infrastructure modernization in Montenegro. Aspiro has been engaged to assist Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro (ŽICG) with the procurement process, including establishment of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), tendering via ECEPP, and contract implementation. The assignment also covers compliance with EBRD’s financing and reporting requirements, as well as environmental and social support in line with the Bank’s performance standards.

The Institute for Information Industry (III), a key enabler of Taiwan’s ICT ecosystem, engaged Aspiro to assess market entry opportunities for Taiwanese tech companies in selected European countries. Focusing initially on Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania, Aspiro delivered an in-depth analysis of the competitive landscape, potential business models, and key regional stakeholders. The final report offered practical recommendations on partnerships, procurement, and financing pathways to support Taiwanese ICT firms in navigating and entering new European markets.

 To improve public transport sustainability in Astana, the EBRD is financing the procurement of 100 electric buses and supporting infrastructure. Aspiro has been engaged to assist City Transportation Systems LLP, the municipally-owned operator, in preparing and managing the procurement process. Aspiro assisted in developing a procurement strategy and drafting tender documentation. The assignment will also include implementation of procurement, support on contract finalisation, and strengthening the Client’s overall project and contract management capacity. Aspiro’s involvement will ensure compliance with EBRD policies and facilitates timely, efficient implementation of this green mobility initiative.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is financing the construction of the Düzbağ Drinking Water Treatment Plant in Gaziantep through a sovereign loan to the Republic of Türkiye. Aspiro has been engaged to support GASKI, the local implementing agency, in strengthening its project management capacity. This includes guidance on procurement strategy, tendering, contract administration, and risk mitigation. Aspiro’s role ensures compliance with EBRD procedures and supports smooth implementation of the Project, which will significantly enhance drinking water infrastructure for the region.

The World Bank’s Digitrans program supports the digitalization of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). In its Slovakia pilot, Aspiro conducted 349 interviews with MSME top-management and an outreach effort to enable these interviews. Aspiro coordinated outreach, scheduled interviews, and improved participation rates reaching more than 80% success by optimizing communications and implementing motivational measures. The gathered dataset will inform the further global roll-out of Digitrans by the WB. Aspiro also supported the World Bank in sharing lessons learned with other consultants.

The State Housing Development Fund of Slovakia (Štátny fond rozvoja bývania, ŠFRB) is a government initiative to support affordable housing development and improvements in Slovakia. Aspiring to increase the efficiency of its financing mechanisms and contribute to faster development of affordable housing in Slovakia, ŠFRB has contracted Aspiro to analyse key parameters of the Fund’s activity in comparison with peer institutions in other EU countries and to suggest improvement scenarios.

The digital opportunities study in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, was part of piloting the City Digitalisation Initiative (CDI) by the EBRD. The Bank had previously commissioned Aspiro to develop a methodology for exploring digital transformation opportunities in cities. The Aktobe study entailed a detailed assessment of the city’s digital readiness based on this methodology, including infrastructure, IT systems, and human resources. Following exchanges with Kazakh stakeholders, several investment project ideas were scoped, with focus on their cost vs benefits.

We have been approached to provide support in preparation of the heating pipeline Dukovany NPP to Brno DH project (Czech Republic) by strengthening consultancy team in initial definition of financing needs, structuring of suitable proposals / combinations of financing (public/EU sources, loans from commercial banks, loans and possibly grants from international financial institutions), support in setting the parameters of loans in relation to the needs and possibilities of the end customer, support in negotiating loan conditions (collateralization, covenants and other obligations of the borrower) with financial institutions and project preparation according to IFI standards.

Aspiro has been requested to support the project management unit of project of preparation of project documentation in relation to nuclear power plant Dukovany (Czech Republic). The scope of our services provided in a role of subconsultant consisted of project management support, and quality assurance.

Within the EBRD’s support of the transition to sustainable, low-carbon economies, this project considered Albania’s ambitions and renewable energy investments. The EBRD commissioned the Grid Flexibility and Storage Assessment Study, with the main beneficiary the Albanian Transmission System Operator. Aspiro assessed Albania’s decarbonization potential, identified and compared technologies for energy storage systems suitable for the country. We examined government energy goals and ongoing projects and studies. We estimated the balance between electricity supply and demand up to 2033 projecting trends in hydroelectric power plants (HPP), renewable energy sources (RES), nuclear power plants (NPP), and gas plants projects.

For a private sector client, we have prepared a methodology and evaluation model as part of the project “Preparation of a multi-factor evaluation model for potential technology subcontractors for energy projects, especially for EPC projects.” The output of the project is applicable for various types of energy sector projects, including projects of renewable energy sources (RES), nuclear power plants (NPP), and thermal or district heating plants (DH).

We have provided consultancy service to the engineering team in relation to the construction of the Mochovce 3 & 4 NPP (Slovakia), namely supported the review the progress of the budgeted costs (Committed and Accrued values) and making a best estimate of any overrun amount, in relation to fulfilment of Investor’s undertakings in relation to its financing and loan agreements.

The private sector arm of the World Bank Group, IFC, supports initiatives aimed at decarbonizing European value chains, emphasizing energy storage solutions. IFC engaged Aspiro to conduct a comprehensive market assessment within Europe, covering EU and Western Balkans, and scoping regulatory frameworks, technological advancements, and market trends, particularly related to planned regional investments in renewable energy sources (RES), hydroelectric power plants (HPP), nuclear power plants (NPP), and gas plants. The study’s outcomes included the identification of potential demand for battery storage and the formulation of a go-to-market strategy.

Aspiro has supported OAS Energy GmbH as subconsultant by participating in vendor market study in Europe, in order to identify potential vendors for certain supplies and services for the Plant and all related works and services. The scope consisted of conducting a market survey in order to identify potential Vendors, creating a list of vendors to be approved as Vendors and performing comparison of the Vendors’ competences and experiences.

Aspiro has provided support to engineering consultants in project management and quality assurance services as part of design and engineering activities related to the project of extension of the building of active auxiliary facilities of Temelin nuclear power plant (Czech Republic).

Aspiro is supporting the National port Agency of Morocco (ANP) in management of procurement procedures for climate resilience related works in line with EBRD PP&R. We are preparing a procurement strategy and support the Client in preparation of tender dossiers, management of procurement process, evaluation, and contracting. We also help monitor environmental and social performance in tenders and contracts preparation, and during early implementation.

We assessed current processes, operations, and organizational structure of the Office for Slovaks Living Abroad (ÚSŽZ), identifying efficiency gaps and regulatory risks. We prepared new process models allowing for 25-40% time savings if the proposed changes are implemented and outlined IT systems deployed. To utilize the freed-up capacity, we proposed a new community-building line of work as part of strategic realignment of the Office.

Building on previous efforts related to energy efficiency financing and the creation of Montenegro’s Eco-Fund, this project defines comprehensive operational guidelines and principles in step-by-step detail. It also offers a template for capacity development and the initiation of pilot programs in the field of energy efficiency financing.

EBRD supports the Government of Egypt in its efforts to design and implement a modern electronic public procurement regime in the Suez Canal Economic Zone. Aspiro acts as a digital transformation consultant assisting in piloting eProcurement and providing implementation support.

Aspiro provides the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Serbia procurement and implementation support services, for its solid waste management programme funded by EBRD and AFD, aiming to set up 7 regional waste management systems. The programme aims to achieve a lower environmental pollution and has impact on more than a half of the Serbian territory.

EBRD finances an upgrade, expansion and modernisation of irrigation infrastructure in Vojvodina region in Northern Serbia through a 15m EUR loan to sustain country’s climate resilience, support its agricultural sector and preserve its groundwater sources. Aspiro provides support to Vode Vojvodine (regional water management company) in project implementation and procurement of works and supervision services.

Axento is a SW distribution company based in Malaysia, providing cybersecurity products and services through indirect reseller channels. The company is also building presence and skills in on-line / direct channels, where Aspiro helped internal team to review and boost performance in local e-tailer stores (amazon like), monetizing social media presence (e.g. TikTok) and lead generation for B2B segment using Linked-in Sales navigator.

We were asked to optimize the existing processes of issuing Mandate certificates for state representatives and officers. Legacy process did not support automated steps, was time consuming and financially demanding. We were responsible for comprehensive AS-IS analysis based on which we prepared a design of new processes and business requirements, design of collaboration diagrams and use cases. We provided the beneficiary a support in the pilot issuance of mandate certificates.

Digitization of state services is progressing, but without proper data’s exchange and sharing between institutions, it is not possible to use its full potential. We were hired to analyze the business and IT requirements of individual state institutions so the “once-only” principle for citizens (G2C) and for companies (G2B) could be achieved. The analysis provided necessary prerequisites for the implementation of full data integration between individual state institutions in Slovakia.

We were asked to prepare a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis for IT system renewal. Legacy system did not meet all the requirements therefore client had a need to procure a new system that will ensure better data processing, effective administration, modern user interface, better interconnection and also better integration with internal and external systems. We identified the costs associated with the renewal and we also provided an overview of the benefits that the new system will bring and thus helped to achieve a faster procurement.

We assisted Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, Urban Transportation Department to improve its commercial standing, service performance by supporting the identification and implementation where necessary establishment of the corporate, financial, operational to meet the related covenants included in the EBRD financing documents. We supported the City in preparation of FOPIP including development of KPIs, IFRS Methodology and IFRS restatements and Non-fare revenue (NFR) analysis.

Digital transformation of cities necessitates substantial investments, however they are structured differently from tranditional infrastructure investments the multilateral lenders are used to. The EBRD has hired Aspiro to develop a digital city investment framework to underpin the Bank’s digital transition approach.

After successful completion of Phase 1, we continue supporting Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia with project management and monitoring of a social housing program financed by a 8m € loan from Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB).

EBRD provided loan to EGO General Directorate (Ankara Transport Company) towards Ankara Bus Project with 57 mil. eur investment. As CDP consultants, we assisted EGO with transformation of the organisation by developing a sound KPI system, developing and implementing a FOPIP and in ESAP implementation via establishment of an Environmental and Social Protection Branch.

Aspiro guided the Turkish Ministry of Health on the procurement process of COVID-19 equipment installed in state hospitals and laboratories, totaling in 110 million EUR investment financed by the EBRD. The Project supported the Turkish Authorities in further upscaling the COVID-19 medical response in the country. Aspiro supported the Project Implementation Unit to carry out 3 contract packages, totaling 56 lots on time and in line with the EBRD PP&R via ECEPP.

The client aimed to introduce performance management system, that should be deployed across organization and provide transparent system for measurement and evaluation of employees performance, linked to compensation model and variable salary part. Our experts helped to design new methodology, draft evaluation forms and supprted change management across company (from initial company goal setting to training for top management).

Aspiro successfully assisted EBRD in providing technical assistance to the Ministry of Finance and the Government of Montenegro with the PPP capacity building, including support to re-think their strategy for the after-crisis economy revival, facilitate the PPP enabling environment, develop a set of high-quality practical documentation and support international experts from different countries with their logistics arrangements.

Aspiro mapped the current situation and proposed optimization opportunities that would lead to a lower administrative burden on the staff of the Security Department and to a reduction in costs thanks to a more efficient registration of products and services by the Security Department. As part of the project, Aspiro also assisted in the implementation of the pilot issuing of mandate certificates through a newly created process.

Aspiro was asked to prepare product & client migration strategy for deployment of new cloud-based banking core system to move clients towards more digitally-oriented bank. We helped to validate and prioritize different migration approaches based on technical roadmap and key business imperatives and prepared a migration strategy. We completed product mapping, analysis and target portfolio simplification, as well as new customer journeys and financial impact analysis with estimation of expected income at risk / client churns and identification of a new income potential.

Aspiro guided the Turkish Ministry of Health on the procurement process of COVID-19 equipment installed in public hospitals, under 200 million EUR investment co-financed by the EBRD and AIIB. The Project supported the Turkish Authorities in upscaling the COVID-19 medical response in the country. Aspiro assisted the Project Implementation Unit to carry out procurement procedures (4 direct and 2 open tenders) in line with the EBRD PP&R via ECEPP.

Aspiro assisted Mersin Metropolitan Municipality in procuring 100 new buses (70 Solo, 30 Articulated) and related services. The estimated value of the project is 22 million EUR, of which 15 million EUR is financed by EBRD via a loan; and 7 million EUR via a donor grant. Thanks to efficiency in EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules (PP&R), the City was able to procure 18 additional buses with same project budget. 

Aspiro has prepared current account strategy reflecting the validated client and non-client needs & desires (via representative market research). We were mapping current banking propositions in Slovakia and other relevant regions and design new ones based on market research results. We helped client to identify potential value-added services (as packages) and quick wins of strategy implementation (phased approach).

In the context of national plan for decarbonisation of specific sectors, our experts worked for public energy company and analyzed the possibilities and scenarios of the use of RES and hydrogen in various types of road freight transport. Within the assignment we prepared a comprehensive feasibility study, including a financial model for individual variants, from last mile delivery to long distance trucks. We identified market and regulatory trends, drafted several business scenarios and calculated costs and (environmental) benefits for each one.

Government of Georgia seeks to enable integration of substantial new capacity of wind and solar power plants by deploying utility-scale battery storage solutions. We analyzed how incorporating wind and solar capacities affects the overall energy generation mix, alongside planned additions of hydro, CCGT, and nuclear power sources. The study evaluated the resilience and security of the transmission system, especially concerning required ancillary services.  We defined parameters of such deployment, drafted required regulatory changes, proposed a private investment transaction structure and financial model, and identified potential investors and suppliers for the government to engage with.

Západoslovenská distribučná, the biggest energy distributor in Slovakia, was going through Business and IT transformation of Meter Reading Centres, aimed at improvement of internal efficiency and fulfillment of legislative directions. Aspiro provided project management services, covering content-wise definition and preparation of strategic documents and methodologies, quality assurance over all deliverables and executive level reporting, while directing activities of data migration and testing stream.

Since 2004, the Czech government and UNDP have cooperated to bring best practices and comparative knowledge of successful transfer from a centrally planned economy to the open market in a democratic environment to Balkan countries. Aspiro proposed implementation of its municipal governance/data management platform, DataCity, and covered activities from design of application customization, initial workshops with city managers to organizing PR events and preparation of the Final statistical report.

National Motorway Company was in the need to procure a new Integration Platform that will ensure better data collection and orchestration, better interconnection and integration with internal and external systems, while handling the gradual increase from today’s thousands of transactions to 10,000+ per day. We have defined several alternatives (processes, requirements, solution architecture, SLA parameters), CBA analysis (CAPEX, OPEX use-case point analysis, TCO) and supported project documentation towards Ministry.

Aspiro has been asked to provide support in preparation of awarding micro-grants to bolster the public-private dialogue between business and public administration. We were setting the eligibility criteria, designing of a concept note, executing mailing campaign and evaluating proposals. We co-organized an outreach webinar and managed active communication with potential grantees, explaining the basis of the RfP.

EBRD selected Aspiro to provide procurement support to the EGO Ankara Transport Company to assist in procuring 282 new buses and 1 fuel station in line with the EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules (PP&R). We developed a procurement strategy, prepared tender documents, and provided support during the whole procedure up until signing of the contract.

We assisted with revision of documents and with analysis and description of environmental and social impacts. We developed complex financial model forecasting various scenarios with impact on EBIT, EBITDA, DSCR, including creditworthiness assessment. We supported client in shaping the annual investment plan and procurement strategy and advised on securing optimal financing options, including loan negotiations.

Aspiro has been engaged to support Council of Europe Bank (CEB) in its proposal towards European Commission (EC), related to pilot project design about empowering marginalized communities with home ownership via micoloans, supervision and assistance in self-construction of simple (and legal) dwellings (called HERO). In cooperation with local consultants in Romania and Bulgaria, we have obtained valuable data, validated key hypothesis, finalized overall narrative of the proposal and drafted budget alternatives, special risk mitigation instrument and predictive tool for KPI calculation.

Jadrová energetická spoločnosť Slovenska decided to assess its own potential in zero-emission fuels production. Aspiro created scenarios for various land use alternatives with main focus on wind farms and photovoltaic parks creating a matrix of various options alongside the considered addition in nuclear power capacities. The assessment matrix also encompassed the examination of large-capacity batteries for storing surplus electricity generated from renewable sources for the production of green hydrogen. Additionally, various options for providing ancillary services in conjunction with electrolyzer operation were explored.

Aspiro provided timely and effective on-site support, coordinated the communication between the EBRD, GMM and the tenderers; helped to GMM to mitigate the risks that arose during the tender processes and played a key role in successful procurement of new 56 CNG buses under the EBRD PP&R without any complaint.

The City of Kara-Balta had approached to the EBRD with request to finance priority investments in water supply and selected wastewater improvements. The current systems of the City are deteriorated and the renewal of the critical infrastructure required large investment. As consultant, Aspiro provided services for the Corporate Development and Stakeholder Participation Programme.

Aspiro was responsible for creation of management reporting database and definition and design of KPIs. Our experts were helping with architecture design of reporting solutions within NCZI, setting up managerial reporting and Power BI, installing servers and applications and creating Proof of Concept for eHealth Reporting, BI reports and integrations with website ezdravotnictvo.sk

Our experts joined 3rd stage of a large social housing program to enhance the supervisory and project implementation support capacity on behalf of Council of Europe Development Bank, helping to improve reporting, identify and mitigate risks, and liaise with local stakeholders to resolve arising issues.

We entered a project that was several years in delay to help accelerate its implementation and provide the Council of Europe Development Bank with supervision and intervention capacity, at the same time assisting the Serbian Ministry of Infrastructure in operational project matters.

Aspiro carried out end-to end project aiming to define Target Operating Model using customer centric approach. The scope of services included design of 10 customer journeys, defining key steps of customer interaction and business needs, framing EBS digital ambitions including internal and external digitalization, planning transformation roadmap and support of required governance including setup and execution of initial strategic demand process.

Aspiro supervised the implementation of EBRD road rehabilitation project and advised on climate resilience elements in project planning. Our experts conducted initial institutional mapping, assessed and reviewed the 3 road designs, including gap analyses, cost-benefit analyses, return of investments and developed climate change strategy and adaptation plan. We led the pilot assessment of 52 road sections.

Through series of management workshops Aspiro build up the custom-made E+ strategy, crafted and validated the concept with top management as well as selected channels and tested the new concepts on customer samples. The EBRD planned to implement a new technical cooperation project to develop, in cooperation with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE), a model concessions law, based on internationally accepted standards and best practices. Our team has mobilized the working group, prepared budget estimates and supported international experts from various countries in their logistics arrangements, resulting in efficient meetings with clearly defined outcomes.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality received financing from the EBRD to purchase 85 light rail train (LRT) carriages to be operated by the municipal public transport company, Izmir Metro A.Ş. The Project intended to promote the commercialisation of Izmir Metro operations by introducing key performance indicators (KPIs), outsourcing of certain activities of Izmir Metro, and taking advantages of certain retail opportunities around major (and new additional) stations of the network.

Aspiro provided technical assistance for preparation of street lighting system upgrade under public-private partnership. We supported with review and improvement of project pre-feasibility study, financial model and creating risk allocation model. We prepared a due diligence report assessing legal, institutional and regulatory issues and compared with FIDIC options. Company also helped to secure remaining funding.

EBRD has contracted our team to organize a conference in Uzbekistan titled “Developing Money and Capital Markets Supporting Growth in Uzbekistan”. Our team has prepared relevant materials, ensured visibility of the event and international coverage and supported with logistics and reporting, ensuring smooth realization of the event.

After successful Phase 1, we assisted with definition of Digital Storyline with new digital capabilities and its validation back to the VSE / innogy core business, provided calculations of revenue / costs contribution of the digital strategy and feasibility review of IT architecture for proposed digital components. Aspiro supported the East Slovakia Energy company with redesign of sales network of energy advisors (iEP) and proposed various scenarios of new iEP models. This included a deep analysis of iEP performance data, household data, creation of forward looking (5 year) simulation model reflecting a change of lead mix and new lead generating activities and calculated revenue / costs contribution of each of the proposed iEP model variant.

Our consultants analysed business priorities (pain / gain factors) and mapped current digital activities. We facilitated creative workshops to generate, validate and shortlist digital ideas. After definition of Digital Storyline, we helped to integrate and validate it back to client´s core business, incl. analysis of potential benefits. We continued to next phase of roadmap implementation.

The client had decided to develop existing IT solution related to billing and CRM domains to meet business ambition of the company in product development and customer service. Aspiro prepared a feasibility study to assess the EBRD investment to the Salaspils DH company.

Based on complaints and media reports on technical issues and procedural failings, we took an independent look on behalf of the lender on the merit of the claims with regard to EIB’s environmental and social guidelines, to assess whether the PPP highway project remains materially compliant and bankable.

The Lithuanian Public Investment Development Agency (VIPA), an agency of the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania, has approached the EBRD for a EUR 50.0 million loan. Our team of experts prepared a feasibility study to assess EBRD investment to VIPA to finance energy efficiency investments in multi-apartment buildings.

We supported Slovak companies to meet the criteria and be eligible and successful in IFI/IGO environment and coach them in the basics of relationship building, opportunity qualification, procurement/PPP approach, tendering, bid management and consortium building. The EBRD extended a loan of EUR 33 million to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. The proceeds are being used for the acquisition of three vehicle ferries, construction of new ferry wharves, and the construction of a repair facility. Our team supervised the project and ensured its smooth implementation, in particular in the initial critical stage of building relationship between the EBRD and the Client and procurement under EBRD PP&R.

ESET decided to acquire DESlock, a British encryption software vendor. Aspiro worked closely with ESET iternal team and external M&A expert to manage acquisition process including financial and legal due diligence, negotiation and preparation of transaction and other related documents. The target company was successfully acquired in July 2015.

Private equity CARDUUS Asset Management company was planning an expansion to new market / segment and in need of new CRM to manage customer & partner portfolio. Our experts completed internal processes analysis, collected business requirements and functional specification and helped with 3rd party solution integration of client reporting. Aspiro was contracted to provide its professional skills in the area of overall Program management, as well as Project management for SAP CRM stream.

Aspiro provided support in commercial and contractual stream assuring content-wise preparation of Key Principles for parties collaboration during the FTP implementation that resulted into bilateral Framework Agreements between the Bank and the Parties involved; also preparation of Operations, Support and Maintenance agreements. After successful merger of Rexel CZ, distributor of electrical equipment and wiring material, with Elvo and Hagemeyer CZ, Rexel chosen Aspiro to provide external support with re-design of most critical processes, namely Order-To-Cash, Procure-To-Pay and Finance processes, within a short timeframe.

FirstData agreed to completely outsource bank’s ATM and Debit Card infrastructure and ensure it’s operations. Aspiro’s role was to lead the major workstream for applications development, system integration and support for deployment of the system. The workstream within the program was conducted by local solution centre of FirstData delivering and deploying customized version of cutting edge transaction’s processing software to the bank and assuring the system integration of all the software components.

Aspiro was asked to conduct strategic and methodology workshops for gap analysis of ERP implementation project. In the first stage we supported the client with CEE strategic directions identification in order to review available options and best practices in the market. In second stage Aspiro conducted region gap analysis and methodologies definition workshops with focus on closing the cross-country gaps with respect to strategic priorities.

Our role was to perform analysis of existing processes and third party systems and proposal of changes related to the Loyalty Application implementation, including management of business integration, deployment process, quality control, testing and preparation and execution of training personnel on related changes.

We provided business analysis and design of AS-IS functionalities (using Enterprise Architect tool) for areas of enforcing and risk life insurance. Aspiro has supported the analytical phase of the project for optimizing the functioning and manage expeditures, where our team reviewed the functioning of the company and prepared a list of possible savings in the cost and employee areas, including conducting interviews with employees. Our experts helped to launch slovak online campaign to capture FOREX leads. We adjusted the value proposition for FOREX customers based on the market reality check, optimized the campaign, what resulted in more than 150 leads generated within 3 months with average lead cost of around 30 Euro and we redesigned initial lead-capturing process on landing page.

We did integration of dispatch centres with a focus on competencies, responsibilities, processes and recommendations for technical infrastructure. After AS-IS analysis among the dispatch centers and call centre in the company, we identified bottlenecks and gaps and defined TO-BE processes of new Central Centre. Aspiro was asked to implement a tool for cost and profitability management answering critical business questions and help them to make the turnaround as fast as possible. We analysed & designed the model and built automatic actualization solution, that enables simple monthly updates. Our experts also summarized business interpretations and deploy BI reporting.

Aspiro provided mapping processes and AS-IS state, identification of bottlenecks in the process (duplications, unclear interfaces, downtimes, automation, redundant checks of six or more eyes, process error, etc.) and design of new, optimal processes, as well as measures to streamline the organization’s performance. Our experts were assisting with identification of process bottlenecks and improvement points in current process interface between Bratislava Water Company and Infra Services. We completed AS-IS interfaces analysis, identified bottlenecks and gaps with impact on customer and operations, defined TO-BE process interface and designed SLA Matrix according to industry best practices, including activities, KPIs and reporting.

Aspiro was asked to implement a tool for cost and profitability management answering critical business questions and help the NCHZ to make the turnaround as fast as possible. Aspiro has designed a profitability model with automatic actualization solution and deployed it on client´s site together with a new BI reporting tool including training of internal team.

Aspiro was contracted for the process design and specification of functional requirements in order to implement new IT system for Order-To-Cash and Procure-To-Pay processes in the wholesale company Hagard:Hal. On top of that, Aspiro helped in the development of methodologies for Sales, Logistics and Purchasing according to industry best practice.

Credium’s (leasing company) goal was to obtain a detailed and actual profitability information. Aspiro has built and implemented the ABC solution providing detailed profitability breakdown by activities, set up reporting, and trained and mentored internal Credium team. Business users now benefit from seven-dimensional profitability matrix with detailed cost and revenue breakdown to analytical accounts.

Aspiro was asked to perform high-level benchmarking study to compare competitive landscape of online brokerage companies in CEE region on their product offer, business model, client platform and other distinguishing features of the competitors. Throughout several board meetings Aspiro advises Erste Group on new business opportunities, identified major weak points of current product offering and operations of Brokerjet.

Our team has provided support to Povodi Moravy, s.p. in analyzing the company from process-organizational and cost-benefit view. This included mapping and analysis of internal processes, organizational units and roles, their risk analysis and design of optimization program. In addition, we have developed a causal model of optimization hypotheses in order to align both viewpoints into one reference system to improve decision-making process for top management.

The overall objective of Aspiro was to provide Programme Management and Implementation Support, including to establish basic Reporting Standards and Processes, consolidate work streams, analysis of current programme management and reporting processes and setup of new ones (Reporting, Scope management, Configuration management, Quality management, Risk and Issue Management) and execution of program reporting towards involved stakeholders.

Our assignment was to unify the processes and rules of providing services to internal and external customers after the merge with Slovak Telekom. We provided help to map, consolidate and redesign processes of entering and processing requests for IVR contact centers, customer servicing via sales channels, issuing customer credit notes to resolve issues and others.

Aspiro was asked to lead project that would in a very short time frame prepare, launch and pilot outbound micro campaigns to x-sell and up-sell existing customer base. We covered definition of overall business concept (incl. channels, processes, target clusters) and microsegments / clusters based on approved hypotheses. We coordinated build-up of new call center and executed pilot campaigns (10 000 customers were called in less than 3 months).

Aspiro was asked to provide support with initial analysis of market potential in APAC countries, evaluate the current client performance on those markets and facilitate brainstorming workshops about new business development ideas based on provided potential analysis with focus on the revenue potential and market outlook. Aspiro supported establishment of a common CRM framework, definition of “best-fit” capabilities based on the Bank’s strategic priorities for each segment, assessment of already running / planned projects and identification of the missing pieces, consolidation of existing, modified and new projects into a CRM business roadmap and development plan of the underlying IT architecture for the CRM domain.

While pursuing its new business strategy with ambition to significantly increase its market share and reach base of 1 mil. customers, our role was to define overall business concept and facilitate key business decisions with board level audience, run analysis of existing IT architecture, prepare overall roadmap, phasing and detailed timeplan and make cost / benefit analysis as input for management decision making.

Our experts assisted to re-organize and re-focus BSS/OSS initiatives, align them with business and shorten time to business results. We provided setup of the PMO, end-to-end program management, change management and change control, quality management, program planning, monitoring and reporting and risk and issue management

Aspiro was asked to advise and accompany the strategy workgroup after change of director and during company ambition to enrich strategy with new insights and clear-cut implementation plan. Our experts assisted to revise the strategy and formulate comprehensive material (“Bible”) easy to be understood by all employees.

We prepared a new complex automated model in MS Excel in order to calculate fiscal impact of existing FDI incentives, but also able to show the previous calculations which were painting a much rosier picture than the reality identified through the new model. The model would allow the decision makers to project the net impact of incentives considered for pending investment projects.

We were hired to prepare strategy and implementation roadmap in order to increase performance and meet the strategic goals Aspiro provided detailed analysis of current situation in both external environment and internal situation and key strategy scenarios. Number of strategic initiatives were developed into specific projects to be implemented in order for the goals to be achieved within the given time.

Following the outbreak of the economic crisis in Slovakia at the end of 2008, the Slovak government set out a framework of measures to mitigate the effects on the economy. Aspiro analysed measures implemented by other countries to support national supply chain companies and subsequently proposed a series of improvements for the Ministry of Economy.

Aspiro experts provided support in developing the Operations and Maintenance guide for establishing formal processes for operations and servicing the R1 motorway and its facilities and helped with services of a project office with goal to introduce regular reporting to align cross-company teams to cooperate more effectively and provide timely information for the company management and financing bank about the work progress.

Grotto, a food manufacturer, has contracted Aspiro to identify real profitability of its products, distribution channels and customers. Our team has calculated the cost structure of these categories in detail using activity-based costing methodology and determined the unused capacity and costs per products. Thanks to these activities Grotto has gathered valuable insights for better decision making.

Aspiro was contrated for the transformation of Procure-to-Pay process with focus on automation and optimization of the process. The project included definition of functional requirements for automation of the Procure To Pay process for business owners from the following areas – Purchasing, Finance and Accounting. Analysis of as-is processes and business requirements, definition of functional specification.

After the design phase of the Order-To-Cash, Procure-To-Pay and Finance processes at Rexel CZ, Aspiro was chosen for the implementation phase. Implemenation included initiation of inventory changes, support of initiation for automated central invoicing set up, definition of pricing matrix with procedures preparation, start of Key purchase order data updating, and trainings.

During the project implementation phase, management and consortium members created the need to build a robust reporting framework in order to overcome the construction delays. We provided support in establishing formal programme reporting system and transfer the managerial best practices to the Client staff. The 50 km PPP motorway co-financed by the EBRD has been completed in 2 years.

After the 2008-2009 financial crisis, bank was facing an increase in distressed corporate clients. Aspiro was contracted to support ČS’s internal product team to validate the hypotheses and run a sensitivity analysis for new financial instrument for non-performing loans. Our experts adviced with initial assumptions and parameters for the design thinking, incorporation of business environment, structuring of ownership rights, transparency, and accountability safeguards and briefing on tax and legal implications.

We conducted a six-week strategic study for ESET, which included the definition of the goal and concept in sales management, rapid diagnostics of ESET’s market position, categorization of distributors’ performance and review of the activities of the EMEA, APAC and LatAm centers. Then we proposed basic solution hypotheses and carried out joint and individual discussions with the management in their validation.
